Tips and Tricks
In order to provide you with a top-notch Clean Day experience, it takes teamwork! From the scheduling of your Meet and Greet to the scrubbing of your bathtub, we all work hard to make sure everything goes smoothly.
Here are a few tips and tricks that you can implement in your home to help your Housekeeper achieve the best possible results!
Put out a Basket
If clutter and household items are piling up around the house you can place a laundry basket or box out for your housekeeper to gather items in, then you can put these items away at a later time.
Place a note on the basket so your housekeeper knows its there for them to use.
Leave a Note
We all think of a few things that can use more attention from time to time. Feel free to leave a note for your housekeeper and they will do their best to help you with these extra cleaning tasks.
Have Your Cleaners Ready
If you are providing your own cleaners make sure you are stocked up on supplies so your housekeeper can provide you with an exceptional cleaning!

Take Care of Dirty Dishes
We will absolutely wash any dirty dishes that need addressed but the less dishes we have to wash the more time we have to do the nitty gritty deep cleaning.
Pick-Up
By simply neatening and gathering up loose items and placing them out of site your housekeeper will be able to more thoroughly address your cleaning needs. We are always here to help with this as well, but the less time we spend "Picking-Up" the more we can use our time to truly clean and sanitize your home.
Let you Client Manager Know About Changes
Things change, new problems arise and we are here to help! Anytime you want to change your task list, timeframe, scheduled day or even when you find out surprise guests are coming into town and you need a last minute touch-up, always feel free to reach out to your Client Manager. We are here to help!
Tipping Your Housekeeper
You are not required or expected to give a tip to your house cleaner, regardless of whether they’re freelancers or from a cleaning agency. However, it’s always good to show someone who did a good job your appreciation!
Tipping 10 to 15% of the total service is acceptable, although you should also consider the situation and the service you received. You can give a tip every time someone comes to your home to clean or just once a month. One large tip towards the end of the year is also a great idea, especially as the extra money can help with the holiday season.
When to Tip More
Consider the amount of work a cleaner might need to do inside of your home. If you keep your home neat and tidy with little dust and dirt then you might not need to provide a giant tip.
On the other hand, if you have lots of children dragging crumbs throughout the house and dogs and cats leaving fur behind you should consider tipping more. If your home is cleaned weekly it requires less work than a home that is cleaned less often.
